The Malá Fatra National Park Administration announces that the 16th edition of the international exhibition and contest of posters EKOPLAGÁT Žilina will be realized in 2023.
EKOPLAGÁT Žilina will take place from 28th September to 11th November 2023 at the Považská Gallery of Art in Žilina.
Authors or teams of authors from various artistic, conservation, governmental and non-governmental environmental organizations or individuals from Slovakia and abroad can take part in the competition. Students of the art and design academies and universities can also enter the competition with their studio work.
Detailed conditions of participation as well as the deadline for sending posters and entries will be published in the COMPETITION RULES for the given EKOPLAGÁT.
Since 1978, more than 900 authors from 23 countries have participated in the competition. The deposit of the Malá Fatra National Park Administration in Varín contains approximately 2,000 posters ranging from world-famous to lesser-known or young beginning authors. Selected posters collections have been exhibited as traveling exhibitions in various institutions (libraries, museums, galleries, offices, authorities) and on various occasions in Slovakia and abroad.
